AC Milan are discussing a potential loan move for Tiemoue Bakayoko with Chelsea, according to claims from Gianluca Di Marzio.
The French midfielder has been heavily linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge throughout the summer transfer window and it seems Milan are making significant efforts to lure him to San Siro.
It’s claimed that Gennaro Gattuso’s side are currently in active negotiations with Chelsea as they look to land Bakayoko on a season-long loan deal, which will entail an option to buy clause.
Bakayoko endured a difficult first season in English football following his big-money move from AS Monaco last summer and doesn’t appear to be in the picture for a starting place under Maurizio Sarri.
Chelsea are also believed to be in talks with Real Madrid regarding a potential loan deal for Mateo Kovacic, indicating that Bakayoko could be forced even further down the pecking order of midfielders at Stamford Bridge.
